Feedback is important in all UX methodologies, but more so in Lean UX. From research to design process, a quick validation or sign off of my designs will allow the dev team to move quickly and will not be blocked. That’s why I make use of chats, and sometimes emails, to get a quick approval from client/stakeholders and use a longer design session for polishing.

As a former web developer I don’t end my process with design hand-off. I proactively reach out to developers and be available for them if they need some clarifications or UI adjustments during the span of the project.

Based on the approved requirements and information I gathered during desk research, I then create wireframes to get approval for layout and interactions. I then proceed to a higher fidelity design and prototypes, once wireframes are approved.

In situations where time is of the essence, I do rapid prototyping to do the entire design process, this allows me to have a quick design turnaround and developer hand-off.

Online requirements gathering, personas, and user flows are my go to approach when design for a new project. This allows me to create concept sketches/low-fi wireframes to validate my understanding of the requirements per feature with the client/stakeholders.
